Loch Ness

Loch Ness is a large, deep freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands. It is about 23 miles (37 km) long and over 1 mile (2.7 km) kg wide on average.

The loch is very cold and murky. The average water temperature is 40° F (4° C), and the water is so murky that one can't see more than a foot or two (half a meter) without magical aid.

The Covenant of Insula Canaria is located on the southern end of Loch Ness, on the northern shore. The Loch is also home to the Niseag, a magical creature that ibelieved to have lived in the loch for centuries;there may be other creatures or mysteries in the murky waters of the loch that have yet to be discovered.
